Broadfone announced today that their customers can now use their account to place low cost calling card phone calls, allowing them to make these calls even when away from their Broadfone device. Customers must initially enable this feature by dialing *00 from thier Broadfone device and pressing 1 after the prompt. After that, the feature is active unless you choose to disable it. Callers simply dial one of the US or Canadian access numbers from any touch tone phone. When prompted, they enter their Broadfone telephone # and pin # and the number they  wish to call. All calling card calls are deducted from the customers reserve account( not from their calling plan). Customers are charged their plan's overage rates for calling card calls and can view these rates @ www.myaccountcenter.net.
